Women in Data Science (WiDS) Tucson!

WiDS Tucson(link is external) at the University of Arizona is a one-day technical conference that provides an opportunity to connect and hear the latest data science related research and applications. This event will take place online on April 22, 2022 and will feature speakers and panelists from the Tucson Data Science Community.

We are seeking presenters for Data Blitz Sessions at our local event. Presenters will give a 3-minute overview of their research using 3 PowerPoint slides (template to be provided) discussing: the research problem, tools, and/or approach. Women (and non-binary people) from different institutions, and from industry are welcome to apply! This event will be online, with presentations delivered through zoom.

The committee will only accept Data Blitz presentations from registrants who identify as non-binary or female. Submit your proposal for the WiDS 2022 Tucson Data Blitz by March 14, 2022 at https://bit.ly/wids2022-data-blitz(link is external).
